Prepaid Account
Definition
A student account funded in advance, typically through block time purchases. Flights are billed against the prepaid balance rather than invoiced after the fact.
Why It Matters
Prepaid accounts improve cash flow for schools and reduce collections effort. The system needs to check sufficient balance before confirming a booking and deduct charges automatically at postflight.
